I just want to remind everyone about the assignment for next week.
1. Finish creating your blog and send me your link. Also, sign up as a follower to my blog. Before the next class, find an article (or two or more) from Science Times that interests you and submit a post about it. The posts can be short. Show that you have read and understood the material.
2. Do some preliminary research and thinking about your story assignment. Send me an e-mail with your thoughts. I will be getting back in touch with each of you with possible contacts for the stories. In some cases, I will be able to bring in background material to the next class.
3. Read pages 2-17 in A Field Guide for Science Writers.
Look for other posts. I'm not sure how often I'll be posting stuff, but it wouldn't hurt to check once a day. If you follow or subscribe to my site, you may be getting the posts automatically. Not really sure how Blogspot works, so let me know.

Everyone ... after you set up your blog, post a test item labeled "Teacher's comments." This will enable me to post comments on your site in reply to this item. Does anyone know another way for me to reach you via your blogs?
